Vinka is a brand that has been at the forefront of New Zealand bridal design for over fifty years. It started out under the directorship of its founder, Vinka Lucas (my mother); although in recent years I have taken the position of head designer.

The focus has always been creating beautiful couture gowns with beautiful fabrics for beautiful women. The gowns must perform for the brides, flatter and enhance, with fabrics that move with the body and create a stunning effect while also reflecting the bride’s personality and style.

We pride ourselves in being able to provide a personal and professional service, with all gowns being New Zealand made in our atelier. You’re welcome to visit our salon and view the beautiful gowns in our in-house collection, and of course we custom-make. We also have an extensive selection of accessories, both local and international, and, as we make veils, can tailor to suit.
