Pilkington's Top Five Tips on choosing your venue.

Make sure the venue is the right size for the number of guests you have.  Small weddings in large venues can feel empty and lack atmosphere while a tight squeeze is uncomfortable for everyone.  

Visit a range of venues before choosing one.  The right one will feel right as soon as you walk in.
Make sure communication from the venue is efficient and answers your questions.  If communication starts off badly, it's not likely to get better closer to the day.
Select a venue that fits with your budget.   
Listen to recommendations from the venue.  They know the space and what works best so if say a 5 piece band and flame throwers won't work – they probably won't!
